Archer, in collaboration with JPMorgan Chase, is seeking a Lead Front-end Engineer to drive the development of a scalable Wholesale Credit Risk Core Platform. The role emphasizes secure, high-quality production code using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, interfacing with a Spring Boot backend and deploying on Kubernetes.

You will help optimize deployments through a build server and champion AI-assisted engineering practices.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Solid development experience in Javascript, Typescript, React, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Responsabilidades

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Works closely with multiple teams to understand requirements, create solutions which meets business needs for the widest number of teams
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes
• Applies knowledge of tools within the SDLC toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities
• Continuously improves on system stability and efficiency
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
