Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Front-End Mobile Engineer to create the mobile experience for Aza on iOS and Android. You will own high‑fidelity conversational and voice interfaces, including UI animations, theming, keyboard behavior, and native modules integrated with the full mobile stack.

You will collaborate with designers, scale mobile apps at Amazon, and advance the New Architecture with Fabric/TurboModules. Strong React Native expertise and experience in voice-driven interfaces are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the mobile experience for Aza across iOS and Android using React Native.
• Implement complex UI animations and gestures with advanced animation techniques.
• Develop conversational UI components including streaming and markdown rendering.
• Integrate voice interaction features including live visualizers and TTS playback using Amazon Nova and Polly.
• Collaborate with product designers to translate designs into shipped mobile product.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and adopt new mobile architectures to improve performance.
