Job summary

Propelus, a healthcare workforce compliance leader in Boulder, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and launch our React Native companion app for App Store and Google Play. You’ll own features from end to end on a unified TypeScript stack, collaborating with web, API, and design teams to align with compliance goals.

You’ll ship accessible, reliable mobile experiences while upholding WCAG 2.1 AA, instrumentation, and strong code reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of real, full stack production experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern cloud-native development.
• Experience with native mobile experience alongside React Native, including app store release.
• Strong system-design instincts focused on reliability and scalability.
• Experience reviewing AI code with Claude Code or Copilot to accelerate workflows.
• Ownership mentality to identify problems and integrate AI solutions.
• Track record of setting technical direction and mentoring engineers on distributed teams.
• Experience building accessible web applications (WCAG 2.1 AA).

Responsibilities

• Own the React Native companion app from architecture, instrumentation, to App Store release.
• Collaborate with the web application team to build features for web and mobile.
• Ship full-stack features across accessible UIs, type-safe APIs, and a GraphQL layer.
• Explain architectural trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay accountable for instrumentation, incidents, and post-release analysis.
• Mentor engineers and improve code reviews.
• Improve testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling.
• Support multiple product lines cross-functionally.
