Job summary

CSI Companies is seeking a Senior React Native Developer to support an enterprise design system component library and mobile/web apps using React Native, ReactJS, and TypeScript. Remote, consultant role focused on building reusable UI components and scalable architectures across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

You will collaborate with product, design, QA, backend, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality consumer-facing solutions and to extend and improve the design system across releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web and mobile application development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with React Native and ReactJS.
• Proficiency in responsive design and modern UI development.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and design systems.
• Experience developing component libraries and reusable UI frameworks.
• Experience building applications that consume RESTful JSON APIs.
• Experience working with distributed development teams in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of React Native optimization techniques for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high quality web and mobile applications with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability.
• Update and extend design system component libraries for future platform releases.
• Support ReactJS development for web based user interfaces.
• Write clean, concise, and well documented code.
• Contribute to scalable and maintainable architectures across mobile and web.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts, data models, and integration strategies.
• Build applications that consume RESTful JSON APIs.
• Lead code reviews to maintain development standards.
• Coordinate releases with other development teams and squads.
• Collaborate with product, QA, UX/UI teams to deliver high quality solutions.
• Manage timelines, expectations, and technical deliverables effectively.
• Optimize React Native applications for iOS and Android performance, offline storage, threading, and responsiveness.
