Job summary

Synechron is seeking a experienced software engineer to contribute across modern web UI, API development, and distributed systems integration in Charlotte, NC. The role emphasizes automated testing, production operability, and building scalable dashboards.

You will work hands-on on features, help establish patterns, review designs, and improve reliability and performance, with strong focus on UI workflows and cross-system integration.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience, including full-stack delivery.
• Strong experience building responsive web UIs using modern frameworks (React preferred).
• Experience with Java is a must.
• Strong experience designing and implementing APIs/BFF services supporting UI workflows.
• Proven experience in integrating across multiple systems and handling partial failures gracefully.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Experience with authentication/authorization integration (RBAC concepts, token-based auth patterns).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex production environments.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative engineering practices.
• Experience building dashboards/console experiences with complex data visualization and workflow navigation.
• Familiarity with observability standards (structured logs, metrics, traces) and correlation across tiers.
• Experience implementing caching and performance strategies (client and server-side).
• Experience contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Exposure to contract testing and API schema governance practices.
