Job summary

State Street is seeking a GHR Full Stack Developer (AVP) to design, build, and support employee-facing experiences across the Global Human Resources technology ecosystem. The role focuses on React-based web apps, APIs, and AWS cloud deployments, ensuring security and performance for global users.

You will collaborate with product, UX, architects, and integration teams to deliver high-quality solutions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to engineering standards and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full-stack development with React/TypeScript for HR journeys.
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience deploying applications to AWS and cloud-native patterns.
• Workday integrations/APIs experience preferred.
• Strong SDLC, Agile delivery in a product/delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance React/TypeScript applications for HR employee journeys and internal tools.
• Develop backend services and APIs to support HR use cases and data needs.
• Implement reusable components and frontend patterns for consistency and speed across GHR.
• Partner with integration teams to consume Workday APIs and middleware.
