Job summary
Erias Ventures seeks a Software Engineer II to design and implement high‑performance web interfaces using Node, ReactJS, HTML5 and CSS3. You’ll work on scalable frontend code, translate wireframes into functional UIs, and collaborate in an Agile environment to meet mission needs for government partners.
You will debug, optimize performance, participate in code reviews, and ensure accessibility and usability across approved browsers.
Qualifications
- Experience designing high-performance web interfaces capable of handling large datasets
- Strong UI development with ReactJS and automated JS tests (eslint/jest)
- Experience translating wireframes/mockups into reusable frontend code
- Node.js & Express.js: building scalable server-side apps and microservices
- Design, develop, and modify software using analysis and models
- Experience with RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration
- Experience with SAFe environment and agile collaboration
- Excellent communication with senior leadership and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance needs
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers to derive requirements and interfaces
- Develop software by analyzing performance standards and data usage
- Design, code, and modify software to add features
- Integrate software into new environments and ensure compatibility
- Write or review documentation and improve processes
- Mentor and oversee software development teams
- Contribute to test procedures and quality control
- Coordinate installations and monitor system operation
