Clove Dental in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant III to support dentists during procedures and manage charting. The role requires current CA X-Ray safety certification and often RDA credentials. You will perform chairside duties, capture high-quality X-rays, and maintain stocked operatories.

You will also assist with labs, impressions, and intraoral photography, while ensuring patient comfort and a smooth daily schedule. This position emphasizes teamwork and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current California Dental Radiation Safety (X-Ray) Certificate is required.
• RDA-EFI or RDA-II credentials are often preferred.
• Experience assisting dentists during procedures is expected.

Responsabilités

• Assist dentist during procedures and input treatment plans into charts.
• Provide chairside assistance, anticipate provider needs, and manage suction and instrument transfer.
• Take and document diagnostic-quality dental X-rays within permitted scope.
• Turn over and disinfect operatories to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Enter clinical information in Open Dental and support chart completion.
• Maintain stocked operatories and communicate supply or equipment issues.
• Support intraoral scanning, impressions, and clinical photography as needed.
• Drive efficient clinical flow by minimizing room turnover time and keeping providers on schedule.
• Assist with patient check-in/out and ensure a warm, safe patient experience.
• Help train DA I–II and Sterilization Technician team members on workflows.
