Qualifications

• Current California Dental Radiation Safety (X-Ray) Certificate required.
• 1-3 years of dental assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to take diagnostic-quality dental X-rays and document images.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist during procedures and input treatment plans into charts.
• Provide chairside assistance and anticipate provider needs.
• Take diagnostic X-rays within permitted scope and document images.
• Sterilize instruments, organize labs, and monitor supplies.
• Prepare operatories and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Enter clinical information into Open Dental and maintain charts.
• Train and support Dental Assistant I and Sterilization Technician staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of operatories and overall office.
