AGE Solutions LLC seeks an experienced BICSI RCDD Telecom Design Engineer to refresh campus-wide telecom infrastructure for a federal client in Washington, DC. Lead structured cabling design across secure environments and ensure compliance with BICSI standards and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in enterprise telecom design, strong leadership, and ability to travel up to 60% to support multiple facilities in the DC area.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• BICSI RCDD certification required.
• 8+ years of related experience in telecom design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of campus-wide telecommunications infrastructure upgrades.
• Plan and supervise copper and fiber installation across facilities.
• Ensure compliance with BICSI standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for telecom design and troubleshooting.
• Oversee MDF/IDF buildouts and cable plant upgrades.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
• Manage daily technician activities and project timelines.
• Conduct site surveys and recommend modernization strategies.
• Support testing, certification, and documentation.
• Maintain as-built drawings and inventory tracking.
• Assist with cutovers and operational transitions.
