Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
• A minimum of 8 years of increasingly responsible experience as a full‑time certified law enforcement officer.
• Effective written communication skills as evident in application materials.

Responsibilities

• Serves as rangemaster for KLETC and ensures the range facilities are ready for basic training and continuing education courses and qualifications.
• Maintains armorer certificates as necessary and conducts weapons inspections and maintains records.
• Utilizes diverse instructional methodologies and reviews curriculum for changes.
• Maintains facilities and inventories and provides reports on needs.
