AV is seeking a Range Safety & Flight Termination Engineer to support MDA Targets and Countermeasures Engineering Directorate. You will provide critical engineering expertise for flight termination systems across launch and reentry vehicles, serving as Range Safety expert in tests, reviews, and customer forums.

Requirements include a Master’s in STEM, 12+ years experience, active DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency with RCC-319/324, GPS/IMU/C-band tracking.

• Experience with flight termination systems and ordnance systems.
• Proficiency with RCC-319 and RCC-324 standards.
• Knowledge of GPS, IMU, and C-band tracking.
• Willingness to travel for mission deployments.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Range Safety expert during flight tests and reviews.
• Oversee requirements development, allocation, and verification for FTS products.
• Conduct technical surveillance across FTS hardware/software development.
• Author reports detailing system status and recommendations.
• Represent government stakeholder interests in working groups and reviews.
