Mission Driven Research seeks a Range Safety & Flight Termination Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Targets and Countermeasures Engineering Directorate. You will provide critical engineering expertise for flight termination systems used across launch and reentry vehicles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 12+ years in missile defense or large DoD programs.
• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years in missile defense or large-scale DoD projects.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Range Safety expert on behalf of the Targets Program during tests and reviews.
• Oversee requirements development, allocation and verification for FTS products.
• Perform technical surveillance across FTS hardware/software and integration.
• Document system status and recommendations in formal technical reports.
• Represent government stakeholders in working groups and design reviews.
