Qualifications

• Incumbent must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) and six years' experience with Eglin range operations and maintenance, command & control, or test and training operations.
• Must have a minimum of four years' experience as an RCO and have RCO certification on a minimum of two Open Air Ranges.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• The Range Control Specialist V is a certified Range Control Officer (RCO) who may be a Site Chief responsible for overall operations of a range or group of ranges.
• Oversee day-to-day activities on a range or test site related to missions and test support; coordinate and direct range resources and activities.
• Perform duties with little or no supervision and train lower-level employees; generate reports as required.
