Job summary

Enova is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Product Consumer team in the United States. You will design and implement technical solutions, collaborating with engineers to build robust systems and mentoring junior developers.

You will work with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations to deliver business value, tackle microservices design, production debugging, and API integration across the stack. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience across languages; Rails preferred.
• Familiar with AI agent harnesses and writing skills.
• Proficiency in one or more OO programming languages.
• Experience with asynchronous jobs and task queues (Sidekiq or similar).
• Ability to solve problems across languages and justify choices.
• Experience building features, enterprise architecture, and API integration.
• Project management: oversee end-to-end, estimate work, break into deliverables.
• Deployed multiple web applications from a full-stack perspective.
• Experience collaborating with product managers to plan iteratively.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
