Job summary

The Application Engineer III, University Research Applications, is a senior position responsible for programming and technical services associated with the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), other grants, and Biomedical Informatics Center (BMIC) projects.

The position is primarily working with the Ruby on Rails development team on its integration with organizational applications and workflow processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area; five years of relevant experience.
• Experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Strong interpersonal, project management, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support complex computer programs and databases.
• Collaborate with the Ruby on Rails development team on integration with organizational applications and workflows.
• Provide programming and technical services for CTSA, BMIC projects.
