Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Boston, MA with a strong rail vehicle background to lead complex procurement programs for transit fleets.

You will manage schedules, budgets and client communications, coordinating engineers, program managers, manufacturers, and client staff to deliver on time and within scope. You will liaise with stakeholders, support vehicle specification development, reviews, and inspections, and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements and

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience in rail transportation, rolling stock, or transit programs.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary client contact and manage rail vehicle procurement programs.
Lead cross-functional teams from planning through revenue service.
Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks and stakeholder expectations.
Oversee project communications, reports, and client deliverables.
Identify risks and implement mitigation actions.
Mentor junior staff in project management best practices.
