Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of resident engineering experience in rail/transit projects.
• Strong understanding of rail systems and stations, including communications, train control, OCS, traction power, and electrical design.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage rail/transit projects from pre-construction, construction, post-construction, and commissioning phases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and regulators to meet project goals.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Oversee quality control to meet high workmanship standards.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Monitor budgets, control expenses, and track project costs.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and adjust to milestones.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management and clients.
