Job summary

Egis in the U.S. is seeking a Structures–Rail Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of rail and transit infrastructure projects in Connecticut.

Lead structural design for bridges, culverts, station elements, and related structures; prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications; coordinate with track, civil, electrical, and geotechnical teams; mentor junior engineers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably in rail/transport infrastructure.
• PE license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for rail-related infrastructure projects including bridges and stations.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
