Job summary

Mace is responsible for managing the installation and integration of critical rail and transit systems within the Hudson Tunnel Project in New York. You will coordinate with contractors, oversee testing, and ensure safety standards are met while driving improvements across the program.

Seeking an experienced program leader with extensive tunnel rail experience, NFPA-130 expertise, and strong stakeholder management to deliver complex, high-value outcomes from a strategic position.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of rail/transit system experience including installation and commissioning.
• Extensive experience with rail transit systems on tunnel projects.
• Proficiency with NFPA-130 fire and life-safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects to schedule and budget.
• Program-level chief role with track alignment and power distribution expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation and integration of critical rail and transit systems within the tunnel.
• Coordinate with contractors to align with specs, schedule, and budget.
• Support testing and commissioning to meet standards.
• Monitor NFPA-130 compliance for fire protection and life safety.
• Lead safety plan reviews and contingency measures for emergencies.
• Drive continuous improvements and transformational change.
• Engage with senior stakeholders on strategic matters.
