Job summary

King County Metro Transit seeks a Rail Superintendent - Track, Row and Structures to lead maintenance teams across Link Light Rail facilities. You will drive safety, performance, and collaboration with unions and partner agencies to ensure reliable service.

The role requires strong leadership, track/ROW expertise, and a track-record of delivering results in a unionized transit environment. On-site work in King County is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in supervisory/management roles in transportation or rail.
• Experience with track, row, or structures maintenance is essential.
• Ability to work with diverse workforce and unions; safety-focused leadership.
• Valid driver's license (Washington) by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop rail maintenance teams and staff.
• Coordinate ROW, track and structures work with agencies and contractors.
• Manage budgets and contracts related to rail maintenance.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
