Job summary

TYLin is a globally recognized infrastructure consulting firm looking for a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to join our PMCM group in New York City. The role supports rail and transit CMCI projects and requires field site visits as needed.

You will develop CPM schedules with Primavera P6, review contractor baselines and updates, attend progress meetings, and liaise with clients like MTA, LIRR, and MNR throughout project stages. A BS and 8+ years scheduling experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent.
• Understanding of construction scheduling processes preferred.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 preferred and PMI/AACEI certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in logistical and delivery and work force planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software.
• Review and provide comment on contractor prepared baseline, update and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
• Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
• Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule.
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.
