Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Rail Bridge Engineer to join our Bridge Team in multiple locations including Albany, Atlanta, Columbus, and Buffalo.

You will lead technical execution of complex bridge designs, deliver detailed reports, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires a PE license and 10+ years of progressive experience in structural or civil engineering, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for bridge infrastructure.
• Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues in bridge and transportation engineering, including ABC.
• Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other departments and project management to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with milestones, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Mentor junior engineering staff with technical reviews and support.
• Deliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, the public, and regulatory agencies.
