Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Bridge Project Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and delivery of bridge and structural solutions across Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, or Albany.

You will drive complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance transportation infrastructure. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, and at least four years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, plus QA/QC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis to complete complex bridge designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and project management staff.
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure.
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff.
