Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Rail Bridge Engineer to join our Bridge Team on major rail projects across the US. You will help deliver safe, reliable rail bridge solutions and rehabilitation strategies, leading technical efforts and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Structural or Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a PE license. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation or similar software.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of complex bridge designs, reports, and specifications.
• Provide expert consultation on bridge and transportation engineering including ABC.
• Lead advanced technical projects and collaborate with other departments and PM staff.
• Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with milestones and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform technical reviews.
• Prepare proposals and deliver presentations to clients and regulatory agencies.
