Job summary

Providence Swedish Health Services, part of the Swedish Medical Group, seeks a Radiology Technologist to lead diagnostic imaging operations in Seattle. You will guide day-to-day workflows, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with the imaging team.

You will assist in orienting new caregivers, clinicians, technologists, and radiology students, fostering a supportive learning environment and contributing to patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (ARRT)
• Upon hire: American Heart Association BLS certification
• 2 years experience in a Radiology role with increasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction of day-to-day processes and workflow of the radiology areas.
• Ensure department quality standards, safety and regulatory compliance are met.
• Assist in orientation of new caregivers, clinical staff, technologists and radiology students.

Performs Diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks. Provides leadership and direction of day to day processes and workflow of the technical areas utilizing effective communication skills with the imaging team. Ensures the department quality standards, safety and compliance and regulatory requirements are met on a daily basis. Assist in the orientation of new caregivers, clinical, technologists and radiology students.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 yearsexperience working in a Radiology type role with increasing levels of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC/Radiant experience.
• 1 year experience demonstrating leadership/training in the medical field.
