Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams and lead day-to-day radiology workflows. You will ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance while mentoring new staff and students.

The role requires AMA-approved radiologic technology training, ARRT certification, Washington licensure, and BLS. EPIC/Radiant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire.
  • ARRT certification upon hire.

  • 2 years of radiology experience with increasing responsibility.

Job description

Description

Performs Diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks. Provides leadership and direction of day to day processes and workflow of the technical areas utilizing effective communication skills with the imaging team. Ensures the department quality standards, safety and compliance and regulatory requirements are met on a daily basis. Assist in the orientation of new caregivers, clinical, technologists and radiology students.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years experience working in a Radiology type role with increasing levels of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPIC/Radiant experience.
  • 1 year experience demonstrating leadership/training in the medical field.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $43.39 - $67.37
