Job summary

The role includes mentoring radiology staff, coordinating scheduling, maintaining records, and adhering to radiation safety protocols while supporting physicians and the imaging team.

Minimum requirements include ARRT Radiographer, BLS, and 5 years of hospital imaging experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging department.
• ARRT Radiographer certification.
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead or perform a variety of radiographic procedures according to established protocols for patients of all ages.
• Exercise independent judgment in applying radiologic techniques and adapting procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and protection during all radiographic procedures.
• Lead and guide junior staff, assist with scheduling and assigning work.
• Maintain documentation of procedures and ensure accurate records.
