Responsibilities include trauma and complex portable studies, fluoroscopy, C-arm and sterile contrast exams, proper documentation in EMR/RIS/PACS, equipment care, and collaboration with the Radiology team to optimize imaging procedures and workflow.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a two year radiologic technology program from an accredited school.
• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging department.

Aufgaben

• Perform high-quality radiographic examinations across all patient age groups with proper technique.
• Independently perform trauma imaging, complex portable studies, fluoroscopy, basic C-arm procedures, and sterile contrast exams.
• Verify exam orders and document in EMR, RIS, and PACS.
• Maintain patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Apply ALARA principles and comply with radiation safety standards.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and contrast procedures with sterile technique.
• Transport and position patients safely using proper body mechanics.
• Document imaging details and dose indices in EMR/RIS/PACS per standards.
