Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist 2 to perform radiographic procedures under supervision of Radiologists and Radiology leadership. The role covers a variety of general radiographic procedures, including portable, contrast, Ortho and Neuro C-arm, and mammography, with independence in technique and patient care.

Candidates must have ARRT eligibility, current BLS, and Florida licensure within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry eligibility is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Temp Florida licensure or 90 days to obtain licensure to practice as Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures per established protocols for various age groups with minimal supervision.
• Handle general radiographic procedures including portable, contrast, Ortho C-arm OR, Neuro C-arm OR, and mammography as assigned.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis while using independent judgment and initiative.
