Job summary

Qualifications

• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
• California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R).
• California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) within six months of hire.
• Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT R.T.).
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
• Less than 18 months of recent experience in a similar role and setting or more than 18 months for Sr Rad Tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable equipment.
• Prepare and position patients to achieve high quality images following radiologist protocols.
• Enter complex data into the computer system and review images for technical quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians and health care staff.
• Assist other technologists as needed; may work various hours and locations.
