Job summary

The role requires advanced knowledge of radiologic technology and acts as a subject matter expert, ensuring image quality and radiation safety.

Position may be hired as Rad Tech or Sr Rad Tech based on experience, license and certifications.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
• California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R).
• CRT-F within six months of hire, to be considered for Sr. Rad tech.
• Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT).
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patient for procedures to achieve high quality images.
• Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable equipment.
• Reviews, verifies and evaluates radiographs for technical quality and accuracy.
• Complies with safety, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
