Loyola Medicine is seeking a Modality Technical Specialist in Radiology to lead imaging protocol development and staff training. The role collaborates with Radiology Leadership, physicians, and vendors to ensure top-quality diagnostic imaging across Loyola Medicine and satellite sites.

The position requires an experienced Radiology Technologist with strong education and safety leadership, along with travel to offsite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Travel to offsite locations as needed
• May require on-call, weekend, holiday coverage

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement imaging protocols for the region.
• Act as chief educator and trainer for staff.
• Oversee safety protocols and quality for the modality.
• Perform technical procedures with independent judgement to provide high-quality diagnostic information
