Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Maywood, IL seeks an MRI Modality Technical Specialist to advance imaging quality, protocols, and clinical excellence across the MRI program. You will serve as the MRI technical subject matter expert and help develop and implement clinical imaging protocols for all scanners in the Loyola Medicine region.

Under MRI Manager guidance and in collaboration with the MRI Medical Director, you’ll educate staff, oversee research projects, coordinate quality improvements, and liaise

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Radiologic Technology or MRI Technologist preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in MRI settings.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert MRI technical leadership and protocol development.
• Implement and optimize imaging protocols across scanners.
• Educate staff and students in MRI techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with MRI Physicist on research and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate vendor relations and ensure high-quality diagnostics.
