APTIM is seeking experienced Senior Radiological Control Technicians to support radiological field operations in San Francisco, CA. We are seeking experienced Health Physics/Radiological Control Technicians who can effectively embrace the technical and operational challenges of high profile and critically important field level project support activities.

Qualifications

5+ years of operational health physics/radiological control experience in radiation safety field.
Familiarity with USNRC/USDoD/USDOE/USACE standards.
Current HAZWOPER 40-hour qualification.
Ability to work outdoors in SF Bay Area climate; outdoor surveys and equipment transport.

Responsibilities

Carries out the company's health physics policies and procedures on field project assignments.
Performs field Health Physics Technician assignments aligned with project work schedules.
Maintains and operates radiation measuring equipment; conducts radiological surveys and sampling; documents surveys accurately.
Provides instruction to others regarding radiological hazards.
