Mercy Pain Management in Springfield, MO is seeking a Senior Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging standards. The role includes leading the team when leadership is unavailable and maintaining precise documentation.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT(R) certification, BLS, and state licensure as applicable, with at least 1 year of experience or a new graduate from a radiologic program.

Qualifications

• Experience: One year of relevant experience or graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program.

The Senior Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Responsibilities for this role also include serving as a resource and acting as a lead while leadership is unavailable. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelors degree program
• Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
