Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Advanced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain high-quality images, and document findings accurately for medical records.

You will communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals, operate imaging equipment proficiently, uphold ARRT radiography certification and BLS, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with required clinical hours.
• One year of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARRT Radiography certification and BLS are preferred/required.

Job Description Summary

Position Details:

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
