Position Details

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Imaging

Full Time: Evenings 2:30PM to 11PM

Monday - Friday with some weekends, holidays, on-call responsibilities

Overview

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high‑quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible. Achieve ARRT registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
