Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Senior Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality results. You will operate imaging equipment, document findings, and act as a lead when leadership is unavailable, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT-Radiography certification, BLS, and a state license if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• One year of relevant experience OR graduate of a bachelor's degree program.
• ARRT-Radiography certification; BLS certification.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

The Senior Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Responsibilities for this role also include serving as a resource and acting as a lead while leadership is unavailable. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Position Details:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelors degree program

Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
