Job summary

Alameda Health System is seeking Radiologic Technologists at multiple levels to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. Responsibilities include radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and PACS usage with emphasis on radiation safety and patient care.

Positions cover X-ray and CT modalities, with PM/evening shifts 8:00 PM–4:30 AM and weekend requirements. Requires ARRT certification and state licenses, BLS, and mammography/CT/MRI/PACS competency as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II.
• BLS Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Certification in at least one specialty (Mammography, CT, MRI, etc.) per ARRT or AHS program.
• Fluoroscopy permit required.
• California Radiologic Technologist certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy with independent judgment.
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment and factors per patient.
• Develop films and use PACS system.
• Follow radiation safety standards and protect patients.
• Train students and assist in modality coverage as needed.
• Maintain records and cleanliness.
