Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate all x-ray equipment in the radiology department and produce images as ordered by physicians. The role includes patient positioning, image optimization, and adherence to ALARA standards in the cardiac cath lab.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT-R, CA RT license, BLS, and fluoroscopy license (CA) within 6 months. Five years of radiology experience preferred. Vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Five years radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• CA RT license required; CA HI licensing when applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists by performing specialized tests and producing quality images to aid in diagnosis.
• Prepare and perform exams efficiently and professionally.
• Operate complex radiographic equipment in the cardiac catheterization department with ALARA standards.
• Lead collaborative departmental protocol development efforts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
