Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment in the radiology department and capture high-quality images for physician interpretation.

The role requires ARRT-R certification, CA/HI licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, and BLS certification; fluoroscopy licensing must be obtained within six months in California. Day shift, full-time schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license CA/HI required.
• BLS certification required per AH policy.
• Fluoroscopy license required within 6 months of hire in CA.

Responsibilities

• Supports radiologists by assisting with specialized tests, notifying radiologists of STAT exams within guidelines and producing quality images to aid in diagnosis.
• Prepares and performs exams while demonstrating efficiency and professionalism.
• Operates highly complex radiographic equipment within the cardiac catheterization department, selecting technical factors to ensure high quality radiographs using ALARA standards.
• Leads collaborative departmental protocol development efforts.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
