Job summary

Sonoma Valley Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and CT imaging, administer contrast, and ensure high-quality diagnostic results for Radiologists.

You will assist during procedures, maintain sterile technique, review orders, and monitor patient safety while coordinating with the care team. Eligibility requires CA CRT and ARRT, fluoroscopy, and BLS certificates.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform diagnostic imaging per department protocol and hospital policies.
• Excellent written and oral communication; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiologic (X-ray and CT) techniques and examinations; administer contrast as prescribed.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Review orders for accuracy and obtain patient history.
• Monitor patient safety and provide safe transport and handling.
• Maintain room and equipment cleanliness per infection control guidelines.
• Perform routine QC on X-ray and CT equipment.
• Assist in reception and clerical duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and risk management and with accrediting bodies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and place work orders for repairs.
