Job summary

Nusano is seeking a Senior R&D Radiochemist to own end-to-end chemistry development workstreams related to isotope production. You will design and execute complex experiments, apply quality-by-design principles, mentor early-career scientists, and collaborate cross-functionally to advance isotope products.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 4–6+ years progressive experience or M.S. with 6–8+ years in radiochemistry or related field.
• Experience owning complex development workstreams and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and troubleshooting of chemistry development workstreams.
• Design and execute complex experiments, analyze data, and determine next steps.
• Apply QbD principles and lead risk-based assessments for programs.
• Drive continuous improvement of chemistry processes and workflows.
• Support benchtop-to-hot cell scale-up and hand-off to Operations.
• Coordinate with safety and other experts to ensure compliance.
• Provide SME input during cross-functional investigations.
