Job summary

TerraPower LLC is hiring a Manager of Radiochemistry Process Development to lead the R&D Radiochemistry group in Everett, WA. You will manage project scope, timelines, and resources for long‑term actinium‑225 production and related radiopharmaceutical development.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and strong communication across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams, with hands‑on support in radiochemistry laboratories.

Qualifications

• PhD in radiochemistry or an allied field with strong radiochemical separations and isotope production experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive people leadership managing scientific/technical teams.
• Experience ensuring GLP/compliance and safe radiochemical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Radiochemistry Process Development organization and manage workforce planning, budgeting, and performance.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Safety to deliver projects.
• Oversee laboratory procedures, scale‑up activities, and support for radiochemical experiments and production efforts.
• Mentor team members through a servant leadership approach, with regular 1:1 coaching.
• Ensure adherence to safety and radiation protection guidelines across all activities.
• Interface with QA disciplines to maintain data integrity and compliant documentation.
