Job summary

Insight Global in Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead design, development, integration, and testing of advanced RF systems. You will drive RF design from concept through validation while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of RF engineering experience.
• Strong experience with RF design and development.
• Hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, and validating RF circuits.
• Experience with RF lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, or oscilloscopes.
• Experience with RF simulation and analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, RF propagation, and communication systems.
• Experience with signal processing concepts and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF design and development efforts for advanced communications, radar, EW, or related RF systems.
• Design, analyze, and optimize RF circuits, components, and subsystems.
• Perform RF simulations, modeling, and performance analysis to ensure system requirements are met.
• Conduct hands-on lab testing, troubleshooting, and validation of RF hardware.
• Analyze RF performance metrics and develop solutions to improve reliability, efficiency, and overall system performance.
• Support signal processing activities related to RF system design and testing.
• Develop and execute RF test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to engineering leadership and customers.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Serve as a technical mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Support proposal efforts, customer engagements, and technical reviews as needed.
