Spartan Management LLC is seeking a Senior RF Engineer with experience in the design, development, deployment, operations, and maintenance of antennas, RF transmission systems, and support equipment. The individual will work closely with colleagues and customers to identify RF hardware requirements and create new designs for dynamic and challenging requirements. We are seeking an engineer who will lead advances in existing technology and push new RF technology to expand our capabilities to support government customers. Qualified engineers will support design, performance verification, fabrication, deployment, and operations.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Antenna design from initial requirement definition through prototype development, production, and testing for antennas up to 30 meters in diameter.
  2. Interacting with customers to determine operational requirements and creating designs to meet or exceed those needs.
  3. Developing test concepts and procedures for RF testing, including far-field and near-field measurements.
  4. Developing task-level requirements from system-level requirements.
  5. Managing multiple unique and custom projects.
  6. Investigating specifications and requirements of projects.
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF designs into larger systems.
  8. Planning and arranging test setups, checking device performance during tests, and evaluating results.
  9. Providing technical assistance in preparing spare parts lists, tools, test equipment, and other engineering data.
  10. Specifying procurement of specialized components and test equipment.
  11. Participating in field tests, if required.
  12. Conducting thorough analysis and testing of RF components to meet specifications.
  13. Communicating technical information clearly to stakeholders and team members.
  14. Some travel may be required.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) programs preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of RF engineering experience required; 5 to 10 years preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain DoD TOP SECRET (TS/SCI) security clearance with CI POLY; active clearance preferred.
  • Programming skills in MATLAB, X-Midas, Assembly Language, Verilog, VHDL, C, JAVA.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio.
  • Experience in a hands-on environment involved in all aspects of system design, production, and testing.
  • Work with top-tier government contractors and organizations.
