Job summary

UC Davis Health in Sacramento is seeking an Associate Chief Radiation Therapist to help manage the Radiation Oncology Department's daily operations. You will coordinate patient treatment schedules, oversee room usage, and guide staff on treatment equipment usage.

The role includes supervising staff scheduling, reviewing treatment plans, and ensuring records are complete before treatment initiation, while supporting education and development initiatives for the team.

Qualifications

• Valid certificate in Radiation Therapy Technology issued by the California State Department of Health.
• ARRT RT(T) certification is required.
• AHA/BLS or UC Davis Health CPR certification.
• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in an acute radiation oncology department.
• Strong knowledge of current radiation therapy practices.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage workload changes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize and report adverse reactions to therapy.
• Demonstrate organization values and patient-centered care.
