Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of JCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field or Associate's Degree in a healthcare field
• Must hold ARRT registry and state licensure as MRT (Upon Hire) and BLS certification (Upon Hire)

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of complex treatment machines to deliver prescribed treatment dose.
• Prepares and educates patients for radiotherapy; administers radiotherapy treatments and monitors patient progress.
• Coordinates patient scheduling and retrieval of records; ensures radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Mentors Radiation Therapist I in conventional radiotherapy; participates in teaching and evaluation of students.
• Assists in commissioning, calibration, QA, and measurements; supports system accuracy and safety.
