Qualifications

• Radiation Therapist license required (state license) and ARRT certification
• 3–5 years of continuous clinical experience required

Responsibilities

• Administers radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely following policies
• Understands equipment, treatment policies, and protocols and applies knowledge
• Collaborates with Lead and Chief Radiation Therapist to develop new techniques and participate in technology projects
• Demonstrates age-specific knowledge for patients from infants to elderly
• Utilizes QA program for treatment delivery and patient care quality
• Rotates to other treatment areas to maintain skills
• Assists with orientation and training of new staff, students, and visitors
